Bastrop Harvested/Salvaged Wood Furniture Workshop

Saturday, February 25, 2012, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

This is carpentry and structural design at it’s core!  We are surrounded by strong, durable and readily-available materials that are often considered unfit for the lumber yard.  This workshop involves the use of Bastrop pine, Juniper/Cedar and other sustainably-harvested/salvaged materials from trees and bushes to make a stool, chair, and/or bench that you can take home with you!   Design, joinery, material selection, and efficient tool use will be some of the subjects covered.

For more information, or to register for this workshop, email Lauren at lauren AT designbuildlive.org.
