Are you interested in supporting DBL’s mission from behind the scenes? The volunteer-run DBL Board of Directors invites inquiries and referrals to fill the key positions of Webmaster (and IT), CRM Manager, and Site Visit Coordinator. If the descriptions below pique your interest and you want your talents to serve a good cause, contact Lauren at designbuildlive dot com to discuss further.
In exchange for your talents, DBL can offer you exposure, education and empowerment in natural building and sustainable living! More specifically, we will thank you with volunteer perks such as complementary membership (including workshop, event and book discounts), invitations to volunteer-only events, and special access to natural building professionals.
Webmaster / IT – Maintain and Grow Our Word Press Website and Social Media Presence
We want to expand our website and make it more informational and complete, but we need a Web expert to make this possible. Enhancements we desire to make include: Extensive natural building photos, natural building resources, community partners, workshop and special events documentation, videos, and blogs. Do you have Word Press experience and a bit of time to donate to our worthy cause? Experience with social media such as Facebook and Twitter would be a plus, as we would like to expand our outreach.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software Manager – Help Us Realize Its Power
Currently we are utilizing CRM software, Neon Z2, for functions such as newsletter generation, membership enrollment, donations, and workshop registration. The program has so much more power that we would like to put to use in reaching more people about natural building and sustainable living. If you have experience with Neon Z2 or similar CRM software and would like to share your talents and ideas in exchange for what DBL has to offer, please contact us.

Tasks and skills needed include the following:
Site visits typically occur on Saturday or Sunday, lasting approximately 2-3 hours.
